Heavy-Duty Construction (Made in USA)
We use super-thick 3/16" mild steel. That is over 50% thicker than competing outdoor griddles and nearly 4x thicker than typical pans. This massive thermal mass holds heat for better sears and faster cooking. Backed by a Lifetime Warranty.
Glass Top Performance
While the air gap created by the Spacer Kit is necessary to prevent the stove from overheating, it is still very efficient at heating the Flat Top. Testing shows that with stoves set to just 1/3 power they are still capable of heating the Flat Top to nearly 550 degrees in less than 15 minutes.
Natural Non-Stick Surface
Forget dangerous chemical coatings like Teflon. Through a process called "seasoning" (baking oil into the metal), your Steelmade develops a natural, easy-release black finish that only gets better and more non-stick the more you use it.
Easy Cleanup (Dishwasher Safe Tray)
Includes a stainless steel drip tray that sits below the drain holes. When you are done cooking, simply pour a cup of water on the hot griddle to steam-clean it in seconds. No scrubbing required.

Glass Top Installation:
The Flat Top sits on top of our Spacer Kit (included) that elevates the grill 5/8" above the glass to provide necessary ventilation. The drip tray sits underneath the Flat Top directly on top of the glass ceramic stove between the heating elements.
